Shayne Moore, MA is the author of Global Soccer Mom: Changing the World Is Easier Than You Think She is co-chairman of the board of directors of Growers First (www.GrowersFirst.org) an organization partnering with rural farmers to fight poverty. She is a member of the World Vision Speakers Bureau, working closely with World Vision Women of Vision Chapters, World Relief, ONE and their ONE Moms movement.
With an MA in theology, Shayne is an active speaker and writes for her blog (www.ShayneMoore.com) and is a founder of Redbud Writers Guild. Shayne was raised in Wheaton, IL. After graduating from Wheaton College she moved to inner city Los Angeles to teach school. After returning home, Shayne completed a Master of Arts in Theology at Wheaton College Graduate School while her children were babies. Shayne still lives in her hometown with her husband John and three children, John David (15), Greta (13) and Thomas (10) spending most of her days driving carpool and doing mountains of laundry.
